Iceland’s first online shopping platform, bringing together top retailers in one seamless marketplace. Launched in 2020, Mynto provided a frictionless shopping experience across web and mobile, integrating multiple stores into a single, user-friendly platform. From intuitive UX to complex eCommerce integrations, Mynto showcased our ability to build and scale high-performing digital products.

Challenges

Our main challenges included creating a multi-basket checkout system that allowed users to checkout from multiple shops at the same time, and pushing orders into different eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce. We also faced some challenges in making the platform experience intutite across both iOS, Android and Web.

Product Design

The Mynto product was designed as an online marketplace accessable through web and mobile, android and iOS. We gave ourselves a lot of time working on the product design because we needed users to choose to make their purchases our marketplace, rather than the official eCom websites of our partners. We believe we were successful in doing so since we quickly saw over 50% user retention rate after their first purchase.
